Frequently Asked Questions
1.Will I be unconscious or lose control during hypnosis?
No. You remain fully aware, conscious, and in control throughout the entire session. Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed yet focused state, similar to daydreaming or meditation. You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will.
2. How many sessions will I need?
Many people experience powerful shifts after just one session. While some clients choose to return for deeper or different areas of work, RTT is designed to create meaningful change in a short period of time. The amount of sessions you need is entirely dependent on the issue and how deep you want to go.
3. Is RTT safe?
Yes, RTT is a safe and gentle modality when practiced by a trained therapist. Sessions are conducted in a supportive and respectful environment, always at your pace. Your nervous system, emotional boundaries, and consent are prioritised at all times.
4. What does the personalised recording do?
Your recording helps rewire the brain by reinforcing new empowering beliefs while releasing old patterns. Listening daily for at least 21 days supports neuroplasticity and allows the new subconscious programming to fully integrate.
5. Is RTT suitable if I’m very analytical or skeptical?
Yes. Many analytical clients respond very well to RTT because it works with both the logical mind and the subconscious. You don’t need to “believe” in hypnosis for it to be effective—just a willingness to participate.
